The HTC One X is one of the newly released Android phones this month. This new mobile device from HTC promises a lightning-fast web browsing, remarkable picture quality and seamless gaming visuals. It’s powered a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and comes with the newest Android OS called the Ice Cream Sandwich.
The HTC One X is undeniably fast. When I tried searching for useful poker guide or trying to find out what is the best online poker site? in Google, Yahoo, and Bing, it loads results in an instant. Still, this depends on your internet connection. But its faster, because I tried searching random search terms using the same internet connection in my good old Nexus One and HTC One X loads the result faster. That proves that it’s 1.5 GHz quad-core processor is really fast!
Its 8 MP camera captures crisp, vivid, beautiful photos. It also lets you take a photo while shooting HD video. Another great thing about HTC One X is the 25GB free Cloud storage with Dropbox, now you can store all your media on the cloud safely and securely for free.
It has a minimalist design, as stated on their website. The white housing (also available in black) is carved from a single piece of white polycarbonate and has a curved black screen sitting on top with the display appearing so real. It’s like you’re tapping the screen without a glass.
The HTC Oe X volume buttons are on the right, a power button on the top and its USB port on the left, which makes this phone very handy. The headphone jack is on the top which is perfectly placed. By the way, you cannot open the back and replace the battery on this device, however, and neither have an SD card slot to boost the built-in storage. Anyway, HTC One X is still great for having a 32GB of on-board memory.
Another feature that HTC is proud to have is its HTC Sense. It’s really the best out there in managing your contact. The ability to automatically link contact information from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, and other social networks is seamless and incredibly useful. It also avoids duplication. This feature is missing in iOS and Blackberry devices.
Not just that, HTC One X comes with Beats Audio enhancement. The Beats Audio enhancement chip makes for better audio playback with better bass response. You will definitely hear authentic, deep sound with true, finely-tuned details. But there’s a slight disappointment with the One X. Unlike other HTC Sensation phones, the One X doesn’t come with high-quality headphones, just the good old average earbuds.
The faster and better Bluetooh v4.0 with A2DP 4 is also one of the key features of One X. You can also connect the phone to a TV using a special HDMI cable.
HTC One X is available outright for around $650 to $700 depending on where you buy it. There are also cheaper units available on eBay for only $370.00 USD. That’s pretty cheap and it’s brand new!
Just like other conclusions, the HTC One X is greatly designed, it’s the fastest phone right now, it has an awesome software, boasting the best all-round screen, sports a superb camera set-up and has some potentially-nifty features like Beats Audio enhancement. The only downside of this phone, just like any other phones, is its Battery life.
