Sony VAIO P: World’s Lightest and Thinnest Netbook!

Written by Vincent Rays. Posted under Netbooks on January 7th, 2009

Finally! After a long wait. Sony has unveiled its netbook! They finally changed the way we look at laptops as what they said in their teaser last year. Just now at CES 2009, Engadget had their hands on this sleek, slim and stylish Sony VAIO P.

Sony’s netbook is unique, with its 8-inch 1600×768 screen and pointer-only mouse control, it’s definitely different from other mini notebooks out there. Its processor is a 1.33GHz Intel Atom chip, with 2GB of memory, a web integrated cam and a 128GB SSD. It includes a 802.11n Wi-Fi and built-in Bluetooth. Its SRP is $900.00, but will be more expensive here in the Philippines, I guess.

Here’s a fresh actual photo from Engadget!
