
Looks like Iomega will be joining the other tech giants at the CES on Thursday as this American producer of external, portable, and networking storage hardware has also announced their new product release just two days before the actual event.
Iomega, selling 410 million digital storage drives and disks, has announce their new Iomega TV with Boxee. This HD media player can do a lot more than just stream and host content, as the company promises. The Iomega TV with Boxee includes a full-featured NAS server, and supports the company’s new Iomega Personal Cloud service.

According to reviews, this gadget comes with an internal 3.5-inch hard drive with either 1TB or 2TB capacities, two-sided remote with a QWERTY keyboard on the underside, and two USB ports to host external storage devices.
The Iomega TV with Boxee features a full HD 1080p resolution playback of most digital content formats. It is also capable of streaming content from its internal storage to other network players, making it similar to the WD TV Live Hub.
According to the company, the Iomega TV with Boxee + Storage device is compatible with a variety of online sources, such as Hulu, Fox, FX, Comedy Central, HGTV, and the Cartoon Network. It can also play movies from sites such as Openfilm, Mubi, Indie Movies Online, and EZTakes. The Iomega TV with Boxee + Storage is available this month and costs $350 for the 2TB version or $300 for the 1TB version.

Aside from the media device, Iomega has also launch it own iPod and iPhone Backup Dock and Charger called the Iomega SuperHero. The SuperHero, a compact base docking station compatible with iPhone (3G, 3GS, and 4) can back up photos and contacts from the iPhone and iPod touch (second-gen and up) to an SD card. The SuperHero dock comes with a 4GB SDHC card and is available later month at around $70.
Iomega Home Media Network Drive

Iomega has also release an upgraded version of their Home media Network Drive. The new Home Media Network Drive did not change much in terms of its external features. Internally, it is a different story. The new improved Iomega Home media network drive is now equipped with enhance internal hardware that is base on a dual-core processor that allows for much faster performance. It has also incorporate the company’w new Personal Cloud Approach allows for convenient remote data access from anywhere via the Internet, as well as over the Internet off-site backup.
The new Iomega Home Media Network Drive comes with two USB ports (front and back) and one Gigabit network port and is available this month.
