OMG OMG OMG! The first OS10 BlackBerry devices are finally announced. They are the Z10 and Q10. As I’m a huge fan of the physical QWERTY-type BlackBerry devices, I’ll be talking purely about the Q10. I’m so excited to see the Q10 in action, live! I just saw the actual photos of BlackBerry Q10 and this device is believed to be the the successor of the BlackBerry Bold 9900. It’s not a direct successor because it’s not actually part of the “bold” series. It’s a new series of BlackBerry’s awesomeness.
After browsing the net for several hours reading first impressions and reviews of the Q10, I read a lot of positive comments that tech enthusiasts and gadget freaks are saying.
Engadget said that It’s a hybrid touch/physical QWERTY model and one that diehard BlackBerry fans won’t only be more familiar with, but potentially more willing to embrace with open palms.
Gizmodo on the other hand commented that the Q10 comes out to a typing experience that feels totally like a BlackBerry keyboard, while also feeling slightly less staid. This, somehow, feels like a modern phone, just with a physical keyboard. Lastly, Slashgear said that the 3.1-inch display may be incredibly small on paper, it really works on this device, and we can’t say that many people will have a problem with it.
Below is the intro video of the BlackBerry Q10 from blogs.blackberry.com
I can’t comment anything about the Q10, but soon I’ll be posting my very own review of this lovely device.
It’s not yet posted in the official BlackBerry website, only on their blog. I also don’t have an idea about when is the release date and what is the SRP of the Q10. But it will be available worldwide in the first quarter of 2013.
Always remember, this is not just a phone, it’s a BlackBerry!
